Editorial Process
The Editorial Process of Noventia Journal is designed to ensure transparency, quality, and ethical publication of research work.
As a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed open-access journal under the Illumine Publication House, each manuscript undergoes a structured evaluation before publication.
1. Manuscript Submission
Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the journal’s online submission portal
All submissions must follow the formatting and structure provided in the Paper Format guidelines.
Only original and unpublished manuscripts are considered for review.
2. Initial Screening and Plagiarism Check
Upon receiving a manuscript, the editorial office conducts an initial screening to ensure that:
The manuscript fits within the scope of the journal.
All necessary components (title page, abstract, references, figures, etc.) are included.
The work is original and free from plagiarism.
Each submission is checked using reliable plagiarism detection software.
If significant plagiarism is detected, the manuscript is rejected or returned to the author for correction.
3. Reviewer Assignment and Peer Review
Once a manuscript passes the plagiarism and initial checks, it is assigned to a subject expert reviewer.
The journal follows a double-blind peer-review process, ensuring confidentiality for both authors and reviewers.
The reviewer evaluates the manuscript for:
Originality and contribution to knowledge
Research quality and validity
Clarity, structure, and academic style
Relevance to the journal’s multidisciplinary scope
Based on the reviewer’s comments, one of the following recommendations is made:
Accept with minor or major revisions
Reject (if not suitable for publication)
4. Revision and Final Submission
The review report and feedback are sent to the authors for necessary changes.
Authors must revise their manuscript according to reviewer comments and resubmit it within the given time frame.
The revised manuscript is then re-evaluated by the editor to ensure that all suggested corrections have been properly addressed.
If required, the manuscript may undergo a second round of review before the final decision.
5. Acceptance and Publication
Once the manuscript meets all editorial and reviewer requirements, it is accepted for publication.
The final version undergoes copyediting and proofreading to correct minor grammatical, formatting, and stylistic issues.
After approval by the editorial team, the article is published online under Noventia Journal’s Open Access Policy and becomes freely accessible to the global academic community.
6. Indexing and Archiving
All published articles are archived on the Noventia Journal website and stored permanently in the publisher’s repository to ensure long-term accessibility and citation availability.
The journal also aims to be indexed in reputed academic databases as it grows.
Commitment to Quality and Ethics
Noventia Journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, ethical review, and publication transparency.
Every stage of the editorial process — from submission to publication — follows the ethical principles recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
